Do you know what your kids are watching on TV? Directv program now offers locks and limits

We know as well as you do that you can’t supervise every moment of your children’s lives. Because children will be children, Directv program receivers has a built in effective feature called locks and limits that restricts what your children can and can’t watch on TV.

This new feature allows parents to block out specific movies, entire channels, set spending limits on pay-per-view listings or limit viewing hours. Locks and limits are available on every DIRECTV satellite TV system and can be accessed through your remote control.

How do you use this directv program feature? Just simply press the menu button on your remote control and select profiles. Look for such selections as:

Rating Limit

Lock User

Viewing Hours

Spending Limit

Then just follow the simple on screen directv program instructions. Instructions might vary from receiver to receiver and then you are set. And when you wish to view what you want to see, just access the programming you want to watch by entering your personal identification number (PIN). It’s simple as 1, 2, and 3.
