Code Dish Network offers customers with
new receivers a 12 month warranty from date of activation. The
warranty covers parts and labor. Customers with a failed receivers
call DISH Network for a return authorization. The Dish Network
will exchange the customers failed equipment for a remanufactured
replacement receiver.
Code Dish Network
offers customers with receivers that
are beyond the 12-month warranty and out of warranty (OOW) repair
service. The exchange service functions the same as an in warranty
exchange, except that DISH Network charges an out of warranty
repair fee for the exchange. There are two tiers for OOW repair
fees, one for standard receivers, one for premium receivers
(currently -premium receivers are defined as a receiver with a
hard drive). Currently, the charge for both tiers is $69.99.
Code Dish Network
offers customers extended warranty
protection for $4.99 per month with a 12-month purchase agreement
and a $20 activation fee. (The activation fee is waived if
customer is within the first 90 days since activation). The
warranty covers all DISH Network Branded DBS video equipment in
the same home as the primary activated receiver. This warranty
option provides free repairs of OOW receivers in addition to
discounted service calls!
Code dish network offers customers

purchase agreement and a $1.99 initiation fee. The warranty covers
all DISH Network Branded DBS video equipment in the same home as
the primary activated receiver. If the customer is OOW and has a
failed receiver, we discount the OOW repair fee by $20 if the
customer signs up for the extended warranty program.
