**Dish Network now offers secondary audio programming (SAP)/Alternate audio**

Have you ever thought it would be nice to watch programs in an alternate language such as Spanish, French, German, and more using audio programming? Well the technology is here today. All of the Dish Network receivers are complete with this functionality. However, just to point out, that only certain programs have alternate audio programming availability.

How will you know what programs have Dish Network alternative audio programming ? Some movies will show at the start of them that this functionality is present. Pay-per-view movies, which offer alternate audio functionality, will show the SAP function in the Program Information screen.

Alternative audio programming is easy to use. Just follow these simple steps:

Press the menu button on your remote control

Select the system setup option in the Main Menu

Select the alternate audio feature

Select a language from the language list.

Select the save option

Just to point out that if the program is broadcast in an unlisted language, select the alternate audio programming option to hear that language. If your program is broadcast in only the listed languages, select the alternate option to hear English. What a great feature offered by the Dish Network.
